Location

Built in Nubian style, the Sheraton Miramar Resort invites you to relax and unwind. The beautiful hotel complex extends over nine small islands, on which the various hotel buildings are spread out. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately puts you in a holiday mood. The hotel is located about 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the center of El Gouna with its various shops, restaurants, and bars. The resort with 339 rooms, designed by the renowned architect Michael Graves, fascinates with its colorful combination of Arabic and Nubian style and its location amidst a beautiful, exotic garden. The comfortable communal facilities include the spacious lobby with a reception, several well-maintained lounge areas, various shops, a hairdresser, and a beauty salon. Let yourself be pampered culinarily by the main restaurant "Miramar" and the two à la carte restaurants. Various bars are distributed throughout the beautiful complex, including the impressive "Miramar Bar", which offers light snacks and drinks. In the outdoor area, guests can enjoy the large pool landscape (partially heated) with cozy sun terraces. Sun loungers, mattresses, umbrellas, and bath towels are included by the pool and on the beach. The beach with its turquoise lagoons invites you to swim. Superior Double Room with Pool or Lagoon View

The cozily furnished rooms (DSU) have been freshly renovated and have a size of approx. 38 m². The rooms have a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (daily refilled with soft drinks), coffee and tea maker, safe, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's lagoon. Also bookable as a single room (DEU).

Premium Double Room with Partial Sea View

The rooms (P2D) have a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (daily refilled with soft drinks), coffee and tea maker, seating area, safe, and a balcony or terrace with a partial sea view. The rooms have been renovated.

Beachfront Deluxe Room

The newly renovated Beachfront Deluxe Rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but are located directly on the beach. Also bookable for single use (BF1).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but consist of two rooms with a connecting door.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suite (JS2) offers the same amenities as the double rooms, but is more spacious (approx. 52 m²) and has an open living area.
Also bookable for single use (JS1).

All Inclusive

Ultra All Inclusive (Code 3)

The main restaurant "Miramar" offers breakfast (7-10:30 am) and dinner (6-9:30 pm) as a buffet. Lunch is served at the "Miramar" or "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits, and local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, and coffee are included around the clock at the open bar. Minibar drinks are also included (daily refilled with soft drinks).
ATTENTION: If booking Ultra All Inclusive, the Club Package is not included. The board as per program must be booked to include the Club Package.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants in other hotels - at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The earliest possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Check-out from the hotel in Hurghada, then transfer by bus (approx. 5 hours drive). On the way, you will visit the Temple of the Goddess Hathor (1.2), then continue to the city of Nag Hammadi, where your cruise ship is waiting for you. Upon arrival at the port, a welcome drink. Boarding and lunch on board. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 2:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch in a restaurant is included. Opportunity for an optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple (can be booked on site), then return to the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 3:
Early morning departure from Nag Hammadi to Al Balyana (approx. 3 hours drive north). Visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2), then return transfer to the ship and lunch on board while sailing to Sohag (approx. 4 hours drive north). In the afternoon, there is an option to visit the White & Red Monasteries in Sohag. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Sohag.
Day 4:
Enjoy your stay on board while sailing down the Nile from Sohag to Mallawi, crossing the Assiut Governorate (approx. 15 hours drive). Overnight on board in Mallawi.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaten" (2) to discover the remains of the 18th Dynasty capital, followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Beni Suef (approx. 12 hours drive). Dinner and overnight on board in Beni Suef.
Day 6:
After breakfast, time for an optional visit to Hawara and Lahun "Pyramids of the Middle Kingdom". Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue sailing to Cairo (approx. 13 hours drive). Dinner during the journey and overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, then visit the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch is included during the excursion. Return to the ship, dinner and overnight stay on board in Cairo.
There is an option for an evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light show in the pyramid area (can be booked on site).
Day 8:
After breakfast, check out from the ship and transfer by luxury VIP bus to Hurghada (approx. 6 hours drive).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals.
