The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58 m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer a direct Nile view.
The design combines Pharaonic elegance with classic style, inspired by antiquity up to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins spread across two decks. Onboard, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy retreats such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a pool area and a comfortable bar.

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be used.

Day 1
Arrival and embarkation
Rest of the day at your leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
 In the early morning, you have the option of an optional hot air balloon ride.
 Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the cruise.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
 Continue sailing to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the cruise.
 Visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3), then continue sailing to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, continue sailing from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional life of the locals.
Followed by breakfast on board during the cruise.
Arrival in Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
 Back on board, enjoy lunch while sailing to Hor Diab Island.
Upon arrival at Hor Diab Island, there is an opportunity to swim in the Nile.
Dinner on board with entertainment and overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 5
Breakfast followed by an optional visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae (1,2,3), then a felucca ride (1,2,3) on the Nile
as well as an optional visit to a Nubian village (3).
 Lunch on board.
Optional participation in the sound and light show at the Temple of Philae (starts at 7:00 PM).
Dinner, entertainment, and overnight stay.
Day 6
 Optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel including breakfast box (2,3).
Breakfast on board for guests not taking the Abu Simbel excursion.
 Lunch and subsequent tea time during the return journey to Esna (approx. 14-hour trip).
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay in Esna.
Day 7
 Breakfast and lunch on board, sailing from Esna to Luxor (approx. 6 hours).
 Arrival in Luxor, visit the East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3), city tour and visit to the oriental souk.
 Optional excursion to the Luxor Museum (3).

The holiday resort is situated in the first row on the most beautiful snorkeling and diving spots in the bay, offering the opportunity to explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea directly from the gently sloping beach.
The city center of Hurghada is approx. 37 km away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 32 km away.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen original hotel was built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 240 rooms and suites spread across various building complexes. With its unique and high-quality dining concept, the hotel stands out in Egypt, offering a selection of three in-house à la carte restaurants ("Lucina" - international cuisine, "Gaia" - Italian cuisine, and "Yades" - Greek cuisine) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The à la carte restaurant "Posh Club Lounge" is exclusively available to Posh Club members and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Lexi Swim Up Suite (SWP) is larger (approx. 43 m²) than the Superior Double Rooms with the same amenities. The rooms have a terrace with access to the swim-up shared pool. The terrace is equipped with a dining table and two separate sun loungers.

The unique dining concept offers breakfast from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and dinner from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to enjoy your breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge". Sparkling wine breakfast is included in all four restaurants.
