Location

The popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The house reef grows to the shore in places and offers very good diving and snorkeling conditions. The Makadi Souk is just a few meters from the hotel, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is about 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with double-storey units, which stretch along the pool and garden landscape to the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, a welcoming lobby with reception, fun pub and shops and boutiques. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee.
In the extensive outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heated in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjacent children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, and a pool bar and a pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The earliest possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1
Arrival and embarkation
Rest of the day at leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
 Early in the morning, you have the option of an optional hot air balloon ride.
 Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
For lunch, return to the boat. Tea time during the sailing.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
 Sailing to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the sailing.
 Visit of the Edfu Temple (1,2,3), followed by sailing to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, continue sailing from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional life of the locals.
Followed by breakfast on board during the sailing.
Arrival in Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).

The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style – inspired by antiquity up to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins distributed over two decks.
