Location

Spend a wonderful family holiday at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". The 5-star hotel offers fun for the whole family and delights both young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed promenade "ALDAU Art Promenade" separates the complex from the sandy beach, which is approximately 400 meters away and slopes gently. Here you can be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling or diving. If necessary, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (subject to availability). Your holiday accommodation is located in the newer district of Hurghada on the modern promenade with oriental cafes, bars and international pubs, as well as small shops. The center of Hurghada with the well-known "Sakalla" is about 6 km away. Hurghada Airport is about 5 km away.

Facilities

The spacious hotel complex is particularly child-friendly and family-oriented and has 718 generously equipped rooms and suites. The complex welcomes guests into a spacious lobby with a reception and lobby bar, as well as a cozy lounge with seating areas. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel. In the outdoor area, there are seven swimming pools, one with an integrated children's pool, covering over 2,600 square meters, which are partially heated in winter. The hotel also has an aqua park with various water slides, accessible from a height of 1.20 meters. The highlight for all water lovers is the 400-meter-long "Lazy River" that runs through the entire complex. There is a relaxation pool on the roof terrace, accessible only to adults. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach. For culinary delights, there is the "Magic Flavors" main restaurant, as well as three different à la carte restaurants, a snack bar, and various pool and beach bars. Guests can choose between Italian, international, and oriental cuisine. There is also a "Sky Bar" on the roof terrace where guests can enjoy their drinks in the evening. Small items like souvenirs can be purchased in the shopping arcade located directly in the hotel.

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms (DSU/DAS, approx. 34 m²) have a shower/WC, coffee and tea making facilities, minibar, safe, LED TV, mini-bar, hairdryer, and air conditioning, and a balcony. Wi-Fi access is free for 2 devices.
Also available for single use (DEU).

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2/DDA, approx. 45 m²) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, satellite LED TV, coffee and tea making facilities, air conditioning, minibar (daily refill with soft drinks), work area, seating area, and balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free. Also available for single use (DD1).

Family Suite

The Family Suites (2FS/ASF) have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 55 m²) and equipped with a master bedroom and a separate sleeping area with twin beds for the children. The master bedroom is separated by a door from the sleeping area and hallway. Wi-Fi access is free for 3 devices. Also bookable as a suite (SA).

Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 m²) have the same amenities as the Family Suites, but with a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping area. The master bedroom has a door to the living and sleeping area with two sofa beds. Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free. Also bookable as a Junior Suite (JSA).

Aqua Suite

The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 m²) consists of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it has the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms.
Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms, but have a smaller contingent and a special price. The rooms are distributed throughout the complex and are sometimes in less preferred locations. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

Standard Double Room

The Standard Double Rooms (DA) are slightly smaller (approx. 24 m²) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms, but are renovated in a modern style. The rooms are distributed throughout the complex and have no balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

Young Traveler Room

The Young Traveler Rooms (YTR) are equipped like the Standard Double Rooms and are available for young adults aged 18-29.

All Inclusive

The main restaurant "Magic Flavors" offers breakfast (7-10:30 am), lunch (1-3 pm), and dinner (Summer: 6:30-9 pm/Winter 6-9:30 pm) in buffet form with theme nights and live cooking stations.
Additionally, the following à la carte restaurants are available: The "Magic Orient Restaurant" offers oriental dinners and a late dinner from 10:30 pm to midnight. The "Magic Palappa Restaurant" offers Italian cuisine for breakfast (8-10:30 am), late breakfast (10:30 am-12 pm), lunch (1-4 pm), and dinner (6:30-9 pm). The "Magic Sky Restaurant" offers dinner (6:30-9 pm) on the rooftop. All mentioned restaurants are included once a week (for stays of 5 nights or more) and require reservation.
Furthermore, snacks, sandwiches, and ice cream are available daily at the beach restaurant "Magic Blue" from 12 pm to 5 pm or at "Magic Souk" from 5 pm to 11 pm. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included around the clock at the respective open bar: "Magic Lounge" including midnight snack, "Magic Splash Bar" with ice cream, "Magic Breeze Bar" with ice cream, "Magic Blue Bar", "Magic Sky Bar" with a sunset coffee break, and "Magic Relax Bar – Adult Only".

Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Transfer from Hurghada to Cairo with our luxury VIP bus (approx. 6 hours drive).
Welcome drink upon arrival at the port. Check-in on board. Lunch and dinner on board and overnight stay in Cairo.
There is an option for an optional evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light show in the pyramid area (bookable on site).
Day 2:
Breakfast on board. Visit to the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Return to the ship and departure for Beni Suef (approx. 15 hours drive). Dinner on board and overnight stay in Beni Suef.
Day 3:
After breakfast, optional visit to the Hawara and Lahoun pyramids of the Middle Kingdom. Continue to Al Minya City (approx. 15 hours drive). Lunch on board during the journey. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Al Minya.
Day 4:
Breakfast. Visit to Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaton" (2), followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan tombs (2). Afterwards, return to the ship and lunch on board. Continue to Assiut (approx. 10 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Assiut.
Day 5:
Early morning departure for Sohag (approx. 10 hours drive). In the afternoon, optional visit to the White and Red Monasteries in Sohag. Meals on board and overnight stay in Sohag.
Day 6:
In the early morning, the ship will cross the Sohag Bridge and continue its journey to Al Balyana (approx. 4 hours drive). After breakfast, possibility to visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2). Afterwards, return to the ship in Al Balyana and continue to Nag Hammadi. Meals on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Possibility of an optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 8:
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Hurghada by bus. Along the way, you will visit the Temple of the goddess Hathor in Dendera (1.2) and then continue to Hurghada. A lunch snack is included. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Hurghada.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiard room on board. On the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar, you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
