Location

Spend a wonderful holiday with a direct beach location at the popular Beach Albatros Resort from the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. The center of Hurghada is about 17 km away, and the airport is about 11 km away.

Facilities

Bright, modern hotel lobby with chandelier, seating areas, and large window view.
This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached by five elevators. The reception hall offers a reception desk and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - International, "Culina" - Seafood, "Sidi Ali" - Oriental cuisine), a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar", newly opened in summer 2023, impresses with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, the pool landscape extends across a total of 13 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas and a children's pool, 11 slides for adults, and 7 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are provided free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

The Bungalow Garden View (BG2) have a size of approx. 24 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiled floors, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.
Additionally bookable as Type I room (BGI/DEI) with special price and limited contingent.

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View, but are larger (approx. 36m²) and have a pool view. The rooms may be located in the main building or in the outbuildings.

Double Room Sea View

The Double Room Sea View (DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, but additionally offer a sea view and are located in the main building.

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, are located throughout the hotel complex, and have a limited contingent.

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consist of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and have a balcony or terrace.

The Suites Sea View (S2M) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, but are more spacious with a living room-bedroom and a separate bedroom.

Breakfast buffet from 7-10 am, late breakfast from 7-10:30 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm, and dinner in summer from 6:30-9:30 pm, in winter from 6:30-8:30 pm. Various snacks are available at all times. Coffee/tea, cake, and pastries in the afternoon. Ice cream for adults and children from 1-5 pm. All local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 am to midnight at the open bars. Selected cocktails are included in the All-Inclusive offer at no extra charge. Unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park (consisting of the former Jungle Aqua Park and a newly built slide park in Water Valley) can be booked additionally for a fee at many hotels. The price of 70 € for adults and 35 € for children up to 11 years old includes daily free admission with snacks and soft drinks, as well as transfer to and from the hotel of stay.

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next available boarding date will always be used.

Day 1:
Transfer from Hurghada to Cairo with our luxury VIP bus (approx. 6 hours drive).
On arrival at the port, welcome drink. Check-in on board. Lunch and dinner on board and overnight stay in Cairo.
There is an option for an optional evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the sound and light show in the Pyramid area (bookable on site).
Day 2:
Breakfast on board. Visit to the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Return to the ship and departure to Beni Suef (approx. 15 hours drive). Dinner on board and overnight stay in Beni Suef.
Day 3:
After breakfast, optional visit to the Hawara and Lahun Pyramids of the Middle Kingdom. Continue to Al Minya City (approx. 15 hours drive). Lunch on board during the journey. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Al Minya.
Day 4:
Breakfast. Visit to Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaten" (2), followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Afterwards, return to the ship and lunch on board. Continue to Assiut (approx. 10 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Assiut.
Day 5:
Early morning departure to Sohag (approx. 10 hours drive). In the afternoon, optional visit to the White and Red Monasteries in Sohag. Meals on board and overnight stay in Sohag.
Day 6:
Early in the morning, the ship will cross the Sohag Bridge and continue its journey to Al Balyana (approx. 4 hours drive). After breakfast, opportunity to visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2). Afterwards, return to the ship in Al Balyana and continue to Nag Hammadi. Meals on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Option for an optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 8:
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Hurghada by bus. On the way, you will visit the Temple of the goddess Hathor in Dendera (1.2) and then continue to Hurghada. A light lunch is included. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Hurghada.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed over several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary well-being. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiard room on board. On the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar, you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
