Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a hotel-owned beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes drive) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty leads out to the Red Sea. From there, you can experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. El Gouna center is about 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is about 25 kilometers away.

Built in Nubian village style, the complex impresses with a cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and has 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. In the outdoor area, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water games. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For your culinary well-being, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 sqm) have been completely renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, tea/coffee maker, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also available for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Double Room Superior

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with garden or refreshing pool views. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a generous king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities. Available for single use (DSE).

Double Room Superior Plus

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Double Rooms Superior. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 am), lunch (1-3 pm), and dinner (6-9 pm) in buffet form. Additionally, the restaurant offers a tea time with various snacks from 4-5 pm. There are also several specialty restaurants: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 am buffet style), lunch (11 am-3 pm à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 pm à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at lunchtime (12-3 pm à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 pm à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 pm à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are available to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, Sunset Bar, Dolphin Bar, Lagoon Bar, Lounge Bar, and Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants in other hotels – without any additional cost for food (drinks excluded). Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: once for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee. A table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12 pm on the same day) is recommended.

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The earliest possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Transfer from Hurghada to Cairo by our luxury VIP bus (approx. 6 hours drive).
Upon arrival at the port, welcome drink. Check-in on board. Lunch and dinner on board and overnight stay in Cairo.
There is the option for an optional evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light show in the Pyramids area (can be booked on site).
Day 2:
Breakfast on board. Visit to the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch in a restaurant during the excursion. Return to the ship and departure for Beni Suif (approx. 15 hours drive). Dinner on board and overnight stay in Beni Suif.
Day 3:
After breakfast, optional visit to the pyramids of the Middle Kingdom in Hawara and Lahun. Continue to Al Minya City (approx. 15 hours drive). Lunch on board during the journey. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Al Minya.
Day 4:
Breakfast. Visit to Tel El Amarna, "The City of Akhetaton" (2), followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan tombs (2). Afterwards, return to the ship and lunch on board. Continue to Assuit (approx. 10 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Assuit.
Day 5:
Early morning departure for Suhag (approx. 10 hours drive). In the afternoon, optional visit to the White and Red Monasteries in Suhag. Meals on board and overnight stay in Suhag.
Day 6:
Early in the morning, the ship will cross the Suhag Bridge and continue its journey to Al Balyana (approx. 4 hours drive). After breakfast, possibility to visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2). Afterwards, return to the ship in Al Balyana and continue to Nag Hammadi. Meals on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch in a restaurant during the excursion. Option for an optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 8:
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Hurghada by bus. On the way, you will visit the Temple of the Goddess Hathor in Dendera (1.2) and then continue to Hurghada. A snack lunch is included. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Hurghada.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes for your culinary well-being. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiard room on board. On the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar, you can relax and enjoy your holiday.
