The 4-star AHG Sun Bay Mlilile Beach Hotel has a total of 54 comfortable rooms spread across 3 floors in the main building. Each room has its own bathroom, fan and air conditioning, mosquito net, safe, hairdryer, mini-bar and a TV. The room types optionally offer garden or sea views. Further facilities include a reception, free Wi-Fi, a pool, a main restaurant with local and international cuisine and vegetarian dishes, as well as a souvenir shop and a massage area. Since December 2025, the property has been extended with a new beach area with 30 additional rooms (54 total), a new swimming pool, and an à la carte restaurant with a pool bar. The expansion also includes an enlarged, equipped beach area, offering guests even more space and comfort in an exclusive seaside atmosphere.

Double Room
The comfortable rooms are located on the ground floor, first or second floor and all offer a view of the beautiful garden or pool. Furthermore, the rooms have a double bed with mosquito net, bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, mini-bar and a TV, balcony or terrace.
Double Room with Side Sea View
Same amenities as the Double Rooms, additionally the rooms are located on the ground floor, 1st or 2nd floor with a side sea view.
Double Room Sea View
The rooms (approx. 20 m²) are located behind the new pool and offer a wonderful view of the sea. Each room has a terrace or a balcony. All rooms are equipped with a king-size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, television, safe, tea and coffee set, and mini-bar (for a fee). Available from 1.11.26
Junior Suite
Available from 1.11.26, approx. 30 m². The 4 Junior Suites are located on the second floor of the beach building. They offer a breathtaking view of the beach and the sea and have a panoramic balcony, perfect for relaxing while enjoying a truly stunning landscape. All are equipped with a king-size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, television, safe, tea and coffee set, and mini-bar (for a fee).
Double Room Beachfront
Available from 1.11.26, approx. 20 m². The Beachfront rooms can accommodate a maximum of 2 guests and are located in the building directly on the beach, allowing guests to experience the sea up close and authentically. They have a terrace or balcony, ideal for fully enjoying the proximity to the beach. All are equipped with a king-size bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, hairdryer, television, safe, tea and coffee set, and mini-bar (for a fee).

We would like to inform you that all airlines from Tanzania are currently on the EU's so-called ‘blacklist’. For this reason, they are currently not authorised to operate long-haul flights to the EU. We are therefore not currently using any of these airlines for our long-haul flights to the EU.
The lack of authorisation is not due to specific safety problems with the individual airlines, but rather to the inspection and safety procedures of the Tanzanian aviation authority, which do not currently meet the safety requirements of the EU.
However, the airlines that we use for domestic flights (for example, for transfer flights from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania) are subject to the international safety assessment ISSA of the IATA (International Air Transport Association) or a comparable safety assessment. These assessments correspond to the globally recognised safety standards of the aviation industry.
