Gold Zanzibar is a 5-star resort located on the fine white sandy beach of Kendwa.
The hotel is 55 km from the international airport. The capital Stone Town is about 57 km away. Restaurants, bars, and a pharmacy are in close proximity.

Set in extensive grounds, the Gold Zanzibar Beach House & Spa offers 72 rooms, providing guests with maximum privacy and relaxation. The architecture of the complex incorporates African and Arabic influences, realized with contemporary design. The complex features 2 restaurants (Main Restaurant "Kilimanjaro", À la carte Beach Restaurant "Gold"), 2 bars (Main Bar "Sultan Bar" and Beach Bar "Ocean Dhow"), a swimming pool, and shops.

The chicly furnished rooms are located on the ground floor and feature a king-size bed, sofa bed, air conditioning, fan, bathroom with bathtub and shower, hairdryer, seating area, telephone, minibar, safe, TV, and a coffee/tea set. They face the garden. If needed, the Deluxe Garden Rooms can be interconnected.

These rooms have the same amenities and size as the Deluxe Rooms, are located on the ground floor or first floor, and additionally offer an ocean view.

The suites feature 2 sofa beds and otherwise the same amenities as the Deluxe Rooms. Five suites have a gazebo.

The Jungle Villas are situated on a private property amidst a tropical garden and feature 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, and a private pool. Additionally, there is private butler service. (Minimum age for children is 6 years)
