In summer, the picturesque Zell am See entices with a variety of water sports, hiking trails, and cycling routes, while in winter, the nearby Schmittenhöhe ski area and the cross-country ski trails in the surrounding area are perfect for winter sports enthusiasts.
Especially in winter:
Ski-in/ski-out possible, depending on snow conditions! The Cityexpress gondola and ski school are located about 300m away. A free ski bus stops directly at the hotel. The Zell am See-Kaprun ski area offers winter sports activities for beginners and advanced skiers.

The personally managed exclusive 4-star lifestyle hotel has a total of 57 rooms. The in-house restaurant spoils you with regional specialties and international delicacies, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Indulge in culinary highlights during a cozy dinner or a rich breakfast buffet. For wellness and relaxation, the spacious wellness area with sauna, steam bath, and relaxation room is the perfect place to recharge your energy after an active day in the mountains or by the lake. In summer, the sunbathing lawn with loungers and parasols offers an ideal spot to enjoy the day. After an eventful day, the café terrace invites you to round off the day. Further hotel facilities include a reception with a bright lobby and an open fireplace, several lounge areas, an elegant hotel bar, and two elevators.

The cozy double rooms (approx. 25 sqm, D) are equipped with a shower/toilet, hairdryer, bathrobes, TV, safe, telephone, sofa bed, and balcony.

These rooms are equivalent to the double rooms but for single occupancy (DE).

With approx. 30 sqm, the junior suites are slightly more spacious and feature a sofa bed (JS2). These rooms do NOT have a balcony.

With otherwise similar amenities to the Junior Suites "ins Glück", these are slightly more spacious at approx. 30-35 sqm. Additionally, they feature a partially separate WC, a double bed, and two single sofa beds or a double sofa bed, and a balcony (J2A).

The spacious suites (approx. 40 sqm, S2) are equipped with a separate WC, an additional refrigerator, a living/sleeping area with a sofa bed, and a separate room with a double bed. These rooms have a terrace.

With otherwise similar amenities to the Suite "zur Gemütlichkeit", these are slightly more spacious at approx. 46-51 sqm and WITHOUT a balcony (SA).

The Junior Suite "Zur Freude/Garden View" (approx. 40-45 sqm, JGB) offers space for 2 to 4 people and is equipped with a separate WC. It features a comfortable king-size bed and a double sofa bed. The balcony offers a beautiful view of the garden.

For all guests staying in the Salzburg region from May 1st, 2025, there will be a new levy, the "Mobility Tax." This fee will be charged in parallel with the local tax per night and will go towards improving transportation infrastructure. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transport in their holiday destination. The levy must be paid regardless of whether public transport is used.
