Kuredu Island Resort & Spa ****

The resort is located on the northern outer reef of the Lhaviyani Atoll, nestled within a tropical garden. The island measures approximately 325 m in width and just under 1,800 m in length, making it ideal for relaxing beach strolls. Transfer is via domestic flight and speedboat to the island (approx. 50 minutes total; longer waiting times at the airport may occur). Seaplane transfer (approx. 40 minutes) can be booked for an additional charge.

The island, popular with divers, offers a total of 388 rooms distributed across the entire island. Facilities include two reception areas with the main reception "O Reception" and "Sangu Reception", and a small shopping arcade. For culinary delights, there are seven different restaurants (such as the "Sangu Restaurant" for ages 15+ and the "O-Restaurant" for ages 12+, depending on room category), à la carte restaurants, a wine cellar, and bars. At the end of the jetty is the popular tea house "Sai Kotari". There are three swimming pools spread across the island (in the "O" area for children aged 12+, for rooms in the O-area; in the "Sangu" area for ages 15+ and exclusively for guests of the Water Villa and Villa Private Pool) with sun terraces. Umbrellas, sun loungers with cushions, and beach towels are available free of charge at the swimming pools and on the beach.

The Garden Bungalows, approx. 54 m², are located in the second row from the beach and feature a bathroom with an outdoor shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, air conditioning, telephone, Bluetooth clock, minibar (partially for a fee), safe, espresso machine, and a terrace. (G2B/G1B/K2G)

With the same amenities as the Garden Bungalows, the Beach Bungalows offer a terrace with direct beach access. (SBZ/SEB/KB2)

With the same amenities as the Beach Bungalows, these are slightly more spacious (approx. 57 m² including the outdoor area) and even closer to the beach. Additional amenities include a semi-open bathroom and a TV. (2BV/1BV/KBZ/VK4)
Spacious villas (approx. 57 m² including the outdoor area) in the O-area are available at an additional charge. The minimum age for rooms in the O-area is 12 years. (O2X)

With similar amenities and size to the Beach Villa, these villas are located on the south side of the island in the "Koamas area". (VE2). From 1.11.25, Sangu Premium Beach Villas will also be available at an additional charge.

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, these are slightly more spacious (approx. 78 m² including the outdoor area) and feature an additional whirlpool. (2JV/K2V/K4V)
Jacuzzi Beach Villas in the Sangu (N2J) or O-area (2OZ) are available at an additional charge.
The minimum age for rooms in the O-area is 12 years, and in the Sangu area, it is 15 years.

With the same amenities as the Beach Villas (approx. 70 m² including the outdoor area), these rooms are built on stilts over the water in the lagoon and feature a private sun deck with direct access to the sea, but no outdoor bathroom. The minimum age for this category is 15 years. (2WV)

With the same amenities as the Jacuzzi Beach Villa (approx. 287 m² including the outdoor area), these villas are located in the garden area and feature a large private outdoor area with a private pool (approx. 40 m²). (2IO)

With the same amenities and size as the Beach Bungalows, these are located even closer to the beach and have sea views. Additional amenities include a semi-open bathroom and a TV. (P2B/P1B)

Full Board
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served buffet-style.

Meal Plan Information
Depending on the room category and location, meals will be taken in different main restaurants/bars.
Restaurants:
"Bonthi Restaurant" (for accommodation in Garden Bungalow, Beach Bungalow, or Premium Beach Bungalow), "Koamas Restaurant" (for accommodation in Beach Villa, Premium Beach Villa, or Jacuzzi Beach Villa), "Sangu Restaurant" (for accommodation in Water Villa, Villa Private Pool, and Sangu Jacuzzi Beach Villa), and "'O' Restaurant" (for accommodation in O Beach Villa and O Jacuzzi Beach Villa). Guests of the Villa Private Pool may choose where they wish to dine.
Bars (Afternoon tea when booking AI):
"Babuna Bar" (for all room categories), "'O' Bar", and "Sangu Bar" (for accommodation in all categories except Garden Bungalow, Beach Bungalow, and Premium Beach Bungalow). The respective age restrictions apply.
Use of other main restaurants is free of charge twice per week for breakfast and lunch or dinner for guests staying in all categories except bungalows (prior reservation required). For guests staying in Garden Bungalows, Beach Bungalows, and Premium Beach Bungalows, use of other main restaurants is subject to a fee (Sangu area excluded, guests do not have access).
Use of à la carte restaurants is possible for all room types at an additional charge and with prior reservation on site.
Please note that families/groups must book the same meal plan, even if accommodated in different room categories.

Breakfast from approx. 8-10:30 AM, lunch from approx. 1-2:30 PM, and dinner from approx. 7-9:30 PM in the assigned restaurants. Afternoon tea and snacks from approx. 3-6 PM in the respective bars. Selected alcoholic beverages (beer, house wine, gin, vodka, rum, whiskey, tequila, a daily selection of cocktails and mocktails) and non-alcoholic beverages (water, soft drinks, canned juices, coffee, tea) by the glass from approx. 9 AM to 1:30 AM in the bars that are open. Use of the minibar – water, soft drinks, juices, wine, beer, coffee, tea, and snacks (replenished daily). Additionally, a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival and a 20% discount on selected spa treatments.
Included sports: 1 x 30-minute introductory snorkeling session per person/stay, introductory golf and windsurfing, windsurfing equipment (for experienced windsurfers only), canoe (daily for one hour), and 1 x sunset cruise per person/stay.

Use of other restaurants as well as à la carte restaurants, room service, all beverages not listed, and excursions.

Additionally, selected premium cocktails at the bars, access to all bars, one lunch at Franco's or one dinner per day at one of the three à la carte restaurants (with prior reservation, age restrictions may apply), one selected spa treatment per week, 1 x introductory dive per stay, and 1 x round of golf (including equipment) per week, free use of bicycles and snorkeling equipment.

Activities include beach volleyball, football, table football, table tennis, darts, and an air-conditioned fitness center.

German-speaking PADI dive center (subject to change), snorkeling (guided tours), catamaran sailing, wakeboarding, water skiing, parasailing, hard tennis court with floodlights, and golf.

Kids' club (ages 3-12).

The resort has two spa areas with eight treatment rooms, and spa treatments are available for a fee.

Free Wi-Fi access is available in the rooms and in some public areas, up to 500 MB per day.

Speedboat: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operates for estimated arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer may occur.

For arrivals/departures outside the times mentioned above, in case of bad weather, or extended waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be required.
In some areas, the sand on the north side contains coral; water shoes are recommended.
