Cyprus Villages Traditional Houses ***+

Cyprus Villages is located in the heart of Cyprus – central yet tucked away in the hills of the villages of Tochni and Kalavasos, making it the ideal base for exploring the natural beauty of Cyprus off the beaten track, from the mountains to the coast.
The villages are situated between Larnaca and Limassol, just about 10 minutes' drive from "Governor’s Beach" (sun loungers are included in the garden of the Sofronion Restaurant).
Tochni, in particular, is impressive for its hillside location with a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape. Some apartments are accessible via steep stone steps.

The thick walls, small windows, and stone or wooden stairs of the houses are typical of the traditional island architecture. You can relax on the veranda, terrace, or in the garden at any time of day with a drink or a book. Wi-Fi is included in all apartments. Nearby (maximum approx. 7 minutes' walk) is a swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols. Use of this is included for our guests.

The apartments are fully furnished in a traditional style. The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchenette, shower/WC, a separate bedroom, balcony or terrace, as well as free Wi-Fi. The communal pool is about a 5-minute walk away. Heating/air conditioning (for a fee) is located in the bedroom (A12/A13).
Room cleaning takes place every 4 days.
The apartments are located in Tochni.

With otherwise the same facilities as the 1-bedroom apartments, these feature two bedrooms (AB2/AB3/AB4/AB5).

The Deluxe apartments consist of a living room with a kitchenette and a separate bedroom. They feature toiletries, bath towels, and a hairdryer in the bathroom, as well as higher-quality mattresses and pillows, plus a balcony or terrace. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. A communal pool can be reached within a maximum 2-minute walk (D2A).
Upon arrival, all guests receive a welcome drink.

The Deluxe apartments are located in Tochni.

Otherwise with the same facilities as the 1-bedroom apartments, additionally with a separate bedroom and a balcony or terrace. A pool is located about 5 minutes from the residential complex (AC2).

These apartments are located in Kalavasos.

Same as the 1-bedroom apartments (Kalavasos), but with an additional bedroom (AD2/AD5).

With the same facilities as the standard apartments, these are slightly smaller (1 room) and only bookable on a self-catering basis (S12).
The studios are located in Kalavasos.

With otherwise similar facilities to the apartments, these offer additional bathroom amenities such as shampoo, soap, and shower gel. Furthermore, beach towels, a hairdryer, and a welcome drink, and they are located approx. 3 minutes from the pool (2PA). Also bookable with two separate bedrooms for an extra charge (22P).

Breakfast/Half board
Only when booking an apartment in Tochni: breakfast included.
When booking half board, dinner is included in the Tochni Tavern. Half board cannot be booked in winter between 1.12. and 1.3., as the tavern is closed in the evenings.

Hiking and jogging possible in the area.

The natural beauty of Cyprus can be discovered off the beaten tourist track. Alternatively, professional bicycles are available for exploring the hinterland. Fishing trips with local fishermen are sometimes offered (local provider).

Baby cots and high chairs are provided free of charge on request (subject to availability).

Arrangement of wellness treatments such as massages and individual yoga sessions (for a fee).

The houses in Tochni and Kalavasos do not have rooms suitable for guests with disabilities.
Due to the hillside location and several stairs/steps, the houses in Tochni are not suitable for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.

After leaving the airport, follow the signs towards Lemesos. About halfway to Lemesos, leave the motorway at exit 15, signposted "Kalavasos–Tochni, Maroni, Psematismenos, Zygi". Then follow the signs towards the village of Tochni.
Upon arrival in the village of Tochni, continue along the main road until you see a church on the left and a small supermarket on the right. Turn right here and follow the signs to the Tochni Tavern and the Cyprus Village reception. Turn left at the "Tochni Tavern" sign, then left again and drive up the steep hill to the Tochni Tavern parking lot.
At the end of the parking lot, near the fence, there is a staircase leading to the Tochni Tavern. Going down the stairs, the swimming pool, the Tochni Tavern, and the CYPRUS VILLAGES reception will become visible. A representative will be there to welcome you and escort you to your accommodation.
The approximate driving time is about 30 minutes.
