The expansive hotel complex is located directly on the hotel's own 400 m long sandy beach. There is a jetty on the beach which makes entering deeper water easier and creates perfect conditions for snorkeling. From here, guests can explore the beautiful and diverse underwater world of the Red Sea. The nearest shopping center, Senzo Mall, is approximately 300 m away. The center of Hurghada is about 20 km away, and Hurghada International Airport is approximately 15 km away.

Experience water fun for the whole family at this popular 5-star family resort! The complex is set within a beautiful and spacious garden landscape. Spend a wonderful family vacation and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. This hotel, particularly popular with regular guests, has 483 comfortably furnished rooms distributed across several three-story buildings. The main building houses the reception, the Sun Ray lobby bar, and the Giardino buffet restaurant. The expansive and well-maintained grounds offer a generous pool landscape consisting of three freshwater pools (Moroccan Pool, Aqua Pool, and a children's pool with slides; heatable in winter). A highlight of the resort is the hotel's own aquapark with twelve different water slides (usage from 1.20 m) and a separate area with two children's slides (octopus, snake) that will make the hearts of big and small water fans beat faster.
In addition to the buffet restaurant, the resort offers five delicious à-la-carte restaurants (Italian, Egyptian, Mongolian, burger, fusion cuisine (for a fee), reservation required for each) as well as four additional à-la-carte restaurants at the sister hotel "SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace," which can also be used free of charge (reservation required for each). Eight different bars are also available: Sun Ray Bar, Boulevard Bar (for a fee), Amuse billiard bar, Victoria Pub, Aqua Bar, Oasis Pool Bar (located at the main pool), Nasaya Beach Bar, and a shisha tent (for a fee). Sun loungers, sun umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pool and beach. Guests may also use the facilities of the "SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace Resort".

The 45 m² tastefully furnished Superior Double Rooms (D) feature a telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, hairdryer, coffee/tea maker, seating area, minibar (daily refill with water, weekly refill with soft drinks), air conditioning, safe, TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also available with pool view (DSP), partial sea view (D2S), or for single occupancy (DE, ESP, 1SD). Also bookable as Type I (DI) with a special price, limited availability.

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) offer the same features as the Superior double rooms, but at a special price with limited availability.

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2/DD1) feature the same amenities as the standard double rooms, are also approx. 45 m² in size, and additionally include a king-size bed or two twin beds, a seating area with a side table, and a vanity.
Available with pool view (DPB/DPE) or partial sea view (DDS/EDD) as well as Type I (DDI) at a special price, limited availability.

The Katta Family Rooms (KWF) with bunk beds are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen original rooms and are freshly renovated in Katta style (bookable under KWF and DF2).
The rooms include additional amenities for the little ones, such as a Katta-style bunk bed, a Katta play corner with beanbags and a small table with chairs, an extra Smart-TV with HDMI connection, and a Katta height chart on the wall. Furthermore, the power outlets have child safety covers. In the bathrooms, there are child-sized towel holders and a step stool for the sink. With the same features as the double rooms, these rooms are also approx. 45 m² in size.
Also bookable as a double room (FR2).
For 2 adults and 3 children, there is only limited space available.

The Family Suites (2FS/FMK) are bookable as Schauinsland-Reisen original rooms and are renovated.
The suites are approx. 75 m² and consist of two separate bedrooms with one parents' bedroom with a king-size bed and another bedroom with two twin beds, separated from each other by a hallway. Both rooms have their own bathroom with a shower. The double rooms with a king-size bed are equipped analogously to the double rooms and feature a Smart-TV with HDMI connection. The rooms with twin beds feature special lighting effects, a dresser with a Smart-TV and HDMI connection, as well as a chill-out area with a beanbag. The power outlets are equipped with child safety covers, and the bathrooms feature a step stool and child-sized towel holders.
Please note that Katta and his friends are not graphically represented in the Katta Family Suites.
The Family Suites can also be occupied by 4 adults.

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 80 m² and consist of a living/sleeping room with extra sleeping options and a separate bedroom. The rooms also feature a bathroom with a bathtub and a terrace.
Also bookable for single occupancy (JS1).

The Beach Front rooms (BF2) have the same features as the double rooms but are located in the first beach row and have a sea view.

Breakfast from 7-10:30 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm (winter)/1-3 pm (summer), dinner from 7-10 pm (summer) 6:30-10 pm (winter), each in buffet form. Midnight snacks from 10:30 pm-1 am. Alternatively, dinner can also be taken in one of the four à-la-carte restaurants.
Snacks at the pool bar from 12-5 pm. Snacks at the Aqua Bar from 12-4:30 pm and from 12-5 pm at the Gamila Beach restaurant. Tea time and pastries from 3-5 pm at the Sun Ray Lobby Bar.
In the main restaurant, Katta's restaurant area is available for the little ones and offers an extra children's buffet and children's tables.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 am-12 am at the respective open bar.
Additionally, one buffet restaurant and four à-la-carte restaurants at the neighboring Sentido Mamlouk Palace Resort are included (reservation required for each).

Fitness center (from 16 years, open from 8 am-7 pm), archery, table tennis, beach volleyball, water polo, soccer, bocce, miniature golf, giant chess, darts, tennis (floodlights for a fee), aquapark for the whole family, Body & Soul Sports (yoga, Tai Chi), billiards (from 12 years). An international animation team offers a daily sports program.

Aquacenter with banana boat, Crazy Eight & donuts, sailing and paddle boarding, as well as windsurfing.

Katta's Mini Club is available for younger guests (3-12 years) and offers fun and games. This includes a general area with various games, a PlayStation room with a selection of different PlayStation games, and a sleeping and chill-out room for the kids' afternoon nap. In the evening, a children's cinema is available in the Mini Club. Painting and cooking classes as well as sports activities round off the program. Furthermore, a playground, Katta's children's buffet corner in the main restaurant, and a mini-aquapark with a pool are available for the little ones. A special highlight is offered by Katta with his garden: here, various types of vegetables await the little ones, which Katta tends to with the young guests.
Babysitting service is available for a fee.

The spa area (from 16 years, usage for a fee) is open from 10 am-8 pm and offers a sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi, and hammam. Massages and further treatments are available for an additional fee. Some services require an appointment.
