Agapi Beach Resort ****+

The modern, multi-award-winning Agapi Beach Resort is located approx. 6 km outside Heraklion, Crete's capital, on the unique coastline of Ammoudara and directly on the kilometer-long, Blue Flag-awarded sandy beach. The hotel is ideal for families who want to combine a beach holiday with the discovery of the nearby Minoan culture.

The hotel has 320 rooms spread across two main buildings and several bungalow buildings. Furthermore, there is a reception, Wi-Fi (included throughout the hotel complex), elevator, a main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants (Italian and Greek cuisine, the Italian à la carte restaurant will be completely renovated and enlarged by Summer 2026), the street food restaurant "Taka Taka", Greek taverna for dine-out experience, 4 bars, souvenir shop, jeweler, mini-market, as well as a spa with hairdresser and other services. In the green, spacious outdoor area, there are sun terraces, 3 pools (one of which is heated during the low season). Sunbeds and umbrellas are included by the pools and on the beach.

The rooms, renovated in 2025-2026, are located in the main buildings and have a bathroom with a walk-in shower, hairdryer, slippers, beach towels, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), telephone, flat-screen Smart TV, air conditioning (centrally controlled), mini-fridge, tea/coffee station, bottle of mineral water on arrival (1 bottle of water per room daily), two twin beds or one king-size bed, and a furnished balcony (D). Optionally available with sea view (DM, completely renovated in 2025) or for single use (DE/DEM) at an additional charge. Also available for triple occupancy (DB).

These rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are located on the 3rd-5th floor of the main building with an unobstructed sea view and additional amenities such as shower/WC, coffee/tea maker, Nespresso machine (incl. daily refill), premium toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, safe, and a mini-fridge (2PM/DXP/PMI). Also available for single use (1PM). The rooms were renovated in Summer 2024.

In addition to the same amenities as the double rooms, the garden bungalows feature a walk-in shower, premium toiletries, a seating area, bathrobes, slippers, and a furnished, private balcony or veranda with a view of the garden (B2A). Also available for single use (B1A).
Optionally available with side sea view (2BS/BIS) or for single use (BS1) at an additional charge.

These bungalows have the same amenities as the garden bungalows and are located in the first row directly by the sea with a sea view (WF2). Also available for single use (WF1).

In addition to the same amenities as the garden bungalows, these rooms feature a walk-in rain shower, coffee/tea making facilities, a higher-quality design, and are more spacious (2BE).
Also available directly by the pool (E2X).

The family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms with shower/WC (without slippers) and consist of two separate rooms with a connecting door and two separate bathrooms, are more spacious, and are located in the 2nd main building (DF2). These rooms will be renovated in Summer 2026.

These bungalows have the same amenities as the garden bungalows, featuring a furnished terrace with garden view, additional sleeping options, and are slightly larger (FB2).

Consist of 2 Exclusive Bungalows in a maisonette style with a shared entrance area. They feature a coffee/tea maker, bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobe, slippers, and luxury toiletries, 2 bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a bathtub), and beach towels (MN2).

The suites are located in the bungalow area, consist of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom, and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, high-quality toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, safe (included), telephone, two 32" flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, Nespresso machine (incl. daily refill), bottle of water on arrival incl. daily refill, and a balcony or terrace (S2). Optionally available with the same amenities as a family suite (2FS) or for single use (S1).
The suites and family suites will be modernized in Summer 2026.

All Inclusive
All meals served buffet style. Two à la carte restaurants and the "Taka-Taka Street Food" restaurant are included. Once per stay, guests can also use the hotel's dine-out concept and have dinner at the adjacent Greek taverna.
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner (casual chic, no swimwear in all restaurants).

Continental early bird breakfast from 5-7 am (upon request), varied buffet from 7-10:30 am, continental late riser breakfast from 10:30-11 am, lunch buffet including children's buffet from 12:30-2 pm, additionally lunch buffet at the Greek taverna "Seaside" from 1-3:30 pm, street food menu from 12:30-5:30 pm at the "Taka-Taka" restaurant. Dinner from 6:45-9:30 pm, children's buffet, light snacks from 9:45-11 pm, two à la carte restaurants (included, with reservation the evening before, 6:30-9:30 pm), "Taka-Taka" with crêpes, waffles, and ice cream from 3:30-5:30 pm, as well as hot and cold snacks, ice cream, and fruit at the pool bar from 11 am-5:30 pm. Additionally, local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as ice cream are offered at the "Seaside Taverna" from 11 am-5:30 pm. Tea and coffee from 4-5:30 pm at the beach bar.
Gluten-free options are also available. Please contact the reception on-site for this.
International and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as cocktails, beer, soft drinks, coffee, and tea from 10 am to 1 am at the respective open bars.
A local taverna outside the hotel is also included once per stay in the AI program (reservation required), 1-3 pm daily (except Sundays) and 7-9:30 pm daily (except Saturdays).
Packed lunches for excursions available upon request.

Water aerobics, beach volleyball, fitness club, gymnastics, water aerobics, table tennis, yoga, boccia, water polo, and tennis (balls and rackets included). SUP or canoe (30 min. per person per day included).

Tennis lessons (floodlight).
