Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
At 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There will be an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

The economy suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and may have a non-opening window instead of a French balcony and seating area.

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with returning guests, is located directly on Hurghada's beachfront, on one of the region's most popular coastal stretches.
