The following excursions are automatically included when booking the MS Nile Excellence: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then, proceed to Kom Ombo again.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the option to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the option to visit the East Bank with Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and relax with cool drinks from the three onboard bars. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests onboard. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sq m and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also bookable for single occupancy (1SA).

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sq m). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sq m and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

The budget suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sq m) with the same amenities as the suites and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The spacious hotel complex of the popular Dana Beach Resort is located directly on its own sandy lagoon beach in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. Enjoy a great family holiday and experience Egyptian hospitality. The town center is approx. 18 km away (limousine service available for a fee). Hurghada Airport is approx. 10 km away.

The hotel complex consists of a main building and three-story residential buildings with a total of 866 rooms. A seawater lagoon leads from the beach through the spacious and beautifully designed garden area to the reception building and is navigable by shuttle boat. Facilities include a stylish lobby with reception, six buffet restaurants (international, Asian, Italian, Oriental, and German), various bars, shops, and a hairdresser.
In the outdoor area, there are three swimming pools with integrated children's areas (two of which are heated in winter, one with water slides for children), a sun terrace, and a pool bar. A brand new highlight of the pool landscape is the newly built aquapark with 18 different slides for adults and children (11 for adults and 7 for children), adding an extra dose of excitement and action to your vacation. The Double Superior Sea View rooms (DMU) have the same amenities as the Double Superior Pool View rooms, but with a sea view.
