Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast pack included.
Then, the ship sails back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then, the ship continues sailing to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Indulge in culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy refreshing drinks served by the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. As of Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking views of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
The Royal Suites also feature a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise identically equipped to the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise identical amenities to the suites, and may have a non-opening window instead of a French balcony and without a seating area.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter-long lagoon with a private beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes by boat) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty extends out into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

The complex, built in a Nubian village style, impresses with a cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and offers 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For your culinary needs, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 sqm) have been completely renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle with tea/coffee making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also available for single occupancy (DK1).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms have pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single occupancy (PR1).

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either garden view or refreshing pool view. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12-2:30 PM), and dinner (6:30-9 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers a tea time with various snacks from 4-5 PM. Various specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 AM buffet), lunch (11 AM-3 PM à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at midday (12-3 PM à la carte). The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
