The Enotel Sunset Bay hotel (formerly Enotel Baia) is located directly on the pebble beach of Ponta do Sol (Note: swim shoes recommended, rocks/stones in the water), in a quiet surroundings, separated from the sea only by the coastal road, and is approx. 25 km (approx. 25 minutes' drive) from Funchal. There are regular bus connections. A bus stop is located in the immediate vicinity. Funchal Airport is approx. 40 minutes' drive from the hotel.

The 4-star hotel of the Enotel hotel group has a total of 69 rooms (51 double rooms with sea view and 18 double rooms with sea view and balcony), spread over 4 floors. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour reception, lobby with seating areas, luggage room, elevator, "A.Mar" restaurant (with international and national cuisine, partly show cooking), "Cocktail" bar (located on the ground floor, open from 7 am to 11 pm), lounges, heated indoor pool, sauna, and an outdoor area with a panoramic roof terrace.

The comfortable double rooms with sea view are approx. 37 m² in size and have a bathroom with shower, toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, cable TV (with approx. 30 channels), Wi-Fi (included), telephone, safe (rental), mini-fridge (DM).
Double rooms with sea view and balcony (furnished, approx. 31 m² in size) can be booked for an additional charge (2MB). Also available as a double room sea view for single use (without balcony, DEM) or double room sea view with balcony (furnished, 1MD) for single use.

The double rooms sea view Type A have the same amenities as the double rooms sea view, but with a French balcony (DMA).

B&B/HB
Breakfast from 7:30 am to 10 am as a buffet. For half board, dinner is also served from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm as a buffet or menu choice (depending on occupancy). Partly show cooking.

Every year between May and June, the 'Ponta do Sol' bathing area is prepared for the bathing season and is not accessible during this period. Acoustic disturbances may occur during the work.
The bathing season 2025 runs from June 6th to September 15th, meaning that sun loungers and umbrellas can be rented during this period and there is a lifeguard.
