The resort is located in Kedewatan near Ubud. It offers a magnificent view of the Ayung River valley and is situated approximately 3 km from Ubud. Furthermore, the resort is easily accessible from the airport, and travel to other important areas of Bali is quick, such as the drive to Denpasar taking about 35 minutes and to the airport around 45 minutes.

Built on a hillside with a breathtaking view of the Ayung River, this villa resort comprises 75 units in Balinese style. Local conditions have been preserved, and the complex is harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape. A total of four restaurants cater to culinary delights, and the hotel's own herb and vegetable garden provides the best ingredients. The "Terrace Bali" restaurant, located on the 1st floor, spoils guests with local specialties. The "Ayung Valley" restaurant serves international dishes and offers a fantastic view of the surroundings. Situated in a special location right by the river is the open-air restaurant "Ayung Garden". If you wish to end the evening in a relaxed manner, head to the "Dewata Lounge" on the upper deck and enjoy the tranquility. The extensive tropical garden area features a total of three swimming pools. Sun loungers, bath towels, and parasols are available free of charge.

The stylishly furnished villas are approximately 340 m² in size (including outdoor area). They feature a separate living room with a sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea making facilities, and a private outdoor area with an unparalleled valley view, private pool, sun loungers, and an outdoor shower. (PVD/PVE). Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen has a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.

The "Nyepi Day", also known as the "Day of Silence," is the most important holiday in Bali. During this time (24 hours), strict rules apply which significantly restrict tourism. The date is determined annually by the lunar calendar and usually falls in March. On the Day of Silence, arrival/departure is not possible, and the airport is closed.
